"These guys have come so far in the past few years and each of their releases has a true element of surprise and originality. They are true musicians that take a lot of pride in their finished product and it definitely shows..."

"What is still present and beautifully developed from the previous releases are the long guitar/bass jammings, where doom heaviness is blended with bluesy and psychedelic groove. And these jammings are one of the things I like most of this band’s style..."

"Seriously a neat concept well executed...soulful and heavy. Always a good pairing - recommended..."

"...more complex than your average doom-come-metal assault...With Sabbath at its core, the Ohio ensemble also incorporates the likes of Cathedral and Trouble into their old school sound, without sounding dated..."

"Threefold Law, it seems, don’t do anything without a big idea behind it...where Revenant most succeeds is in translating those ideas into the music of the five audio tracks..."

"Quite simply a truly original landmark album that will be in many people’s Top 10 Lists of 2011. And yes, it has made my top 10 list. No doubt about that..."

"Fortunately, at the end of the day, good songs are good songs, and Threefold Law have kicked off their discography with a collection of them. Running a current underneath both The Rede and The Burning Time is quality songwriting and a level of performance that – as it should – makes me desperate to hear these tracks in a live setting."

"Threefold Law is onto something with the release of this USB drive release. The possibilities that one can do with this are virtually endless...Threefold Law will be considered pioneers in this trend in a few years, you watch."

"Threefold Law's music electrifies me with dark, crispy old school doom metal. These musicians do not only know their stuff but they also have a knack for ingenious riffs and spaced out guitar solos."

"I love what these guys do and commend them for trying to be different in an otherwise predictable genre...the songs on both EPs are pretty damn good and the concept of the release is pretty cool."

Track Listing

1.  Killer of the Sultan
2.  Hell Lander

“I'm not sure if Cleveland's Threefold Law is doom, 80's metal, or a little bit of both, but for the most part, I like what I hear. On title track "Killer of the Sultan," the first of two songs, the vocal line locks in with the gloomy riffs, giving it a bit of sing-song like melody. The band might take it the wrong way, but it sounds like what you'd get if members of Dokken and Trouble formed a supergroup. Honestly, I mean it as a compliment...”
